NRM party leaders in Apac are taking a firm stance against corruption, stating they’re ready to urge President Museveni to arrest and remove any civil servant found misusing public funds.

This development comes ahead of the President’s campaign rally in Apac District on October 3, 2025.

The leaders’ bold move aligns with the government’s ongoing efforts to crack down on corruption, particularly in programs like the Parish Development Model (PDM).

they said in many occasion public offices are full of corrupt people ant in many casses when they are arrested they are always released ence leaving them to continue embezzling

The NRM mouth pice for Apac municipality Geoffrey Abili said this kind of people must be removed and they must begin going back to farming after being found guilty and this will be implemented by the president during his new term in office come 2026.

In a similar vein, Dokolo Resident District Commissioner Barbara Akech recently warned civil servants in Dokolo District who illegally accessed PDM funds, emphasizing that failure to comply with her directive to return the funds would result in arrests and prosecution.

This move reflects the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in implementing programs meant to uplift vulnerable communities.

PDM Funds: Misuse of these funds is a significant issue, with some civil servants benefiting illegally.
