- A bold push to transform rural economies is underway as the dfcu Foundation struggle
in partnership with Rabo Foundation, unveils the FEAT (Financial Expansion for Agribusiness Transformation) programme.
With Shs 100 billion in financial linkages on offer, the initiative aims to empower 2,280 agribusinesses across key value chains such as coffee, dairy, cereals, and oilseeds .
Targeting inclusive growth, FEAT places special emphasis on women, youth, and vulnerable groups.
The project doesn’t just offer financing—it includes training on leadership, governance, financial literacy, and climate‑smart agriculture via management advisors, AgriTech specialists, and digital tools like the Soma e‑learning platform .
By equipping early‑stage enterprises with both capital and capacity, FEAT is poised to plant the seeds of economic resilience and prosperity in Uganda’s agrarian communities.
