Lira,uganda|Okodia has exited the race of National Northern Vice Chairman of the NRM Entrepreneurs League.
In a letter he wrote and posted to various forums Robert Okodia who is among prominent business men within the Lira city said he has no interest to continue with the political ambition to run as the vice chairman entrepreneurship Northern Uganda.
Okodia in his letter said the national Chairman for entrepreneur league, Alhaji Dr. Hassan Bassajjabalaba has advised him to step aside from the race.
Okodia said the advice was positive that is why he also accepted to withdraw from the race.
“I express my gratitude to my family, supporters, party members and colleagues for their dedication, love and trust.”
He assured the party official for his commitment and engagement to give all support to all party flag bearers in the forthcoming election.
“I hereby announce my decision to withdraw from my decision is made with consideration for promoting gender inclusivity within our league, the NRM party structures and in alignment with the principles of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party on inclusivity”.Okodia added
