SERERE WILL DISTRIBUTE 49000 HAND HOES TO THE COMMUNITY.

Soroti,Uganda|Over forty-nine thousand hand hoes to be distributed to all the households in Serere district.

The State Minister for fisheries Hellen Adoa was addressing the community of Atira in Serere about the government program in eradicating poverty in Teso.

She said each household will benefit from one home and this will happen before the elections of 2026.

Adoa said giving hand hoe is part of the government program in fighting against poverty in Teso sub region and uganda at large.

He assured the people of Teso to make a good step into supporting Museveni since he’s the only person who can help everyone in eradicating poverty in Teso.

Stephine Ochola the LC V chairman for Serere district has called upon Iteso to demand for their Animals before elections.

Ochola who is among the committee constituted by the Vice President under the directive by the President Museveni, Ochola said they have done with consultation to all the stakeholders in the issue of animal restocking in Teso.

He said each Household will benefit 2-5 Animals and they have already compiled the report waiting for the President’s response.

“We have finished compiling the report and handed it over to the Vice president to take to the President. He requested Hellen Adoa to follow Teso cattle compensation before the election, he added.

In her response Hellen Addoa assured the people of teso that the government does not work with pressure but plans and the cows will be given to Iteso.

Adoa said the government is ready to give 3-5 cows to each house across the country.
