STOP CALLING WOMEN WHOSE SPOUSES DIED WHEN THEY ARE 18-50 YEARS WIDOWS.
The church has banned calling women who have lost their husband and they are still within the age of 18-50 a widow.

Serere,Uganda|The church has banned calling women who have lost their husband and they are still within the age of 18-50 a widow.
Parish Priest of Atira in Serere Archdeaconry, Soroti Diocese Rev Joseph Otira sounded this warning while presiding over the burial of late John Eciru resident Angorom Village, Atira Parish in Serere District.
He instructed young girls who are still between 18-50 but they have lost their lives not to agree that they are widows since they still have brighter futures.
John Echiru died at 49 years old,former driver of Alice Alaso of Hepatitis.
The man of God while quoting the bible verse Romans 7:2 he said it’s wrong to insult these young girls with title widows but call them single mothers.
He added that the name widows are for the old women of 60 years and above. He encouraged young girls who have lost their husbands to get married because they are still strong and able and it’s not a sin for those girls to get married”he added”
The state minister for Fisheries Hellen Adoa has called upon the consumers of alcohol to do Hepatitis tests if found sick should get treatment and they also encouraged women to go for cervical cancer tests.
Adoa warned aspirants in various positions to stop using head speech while campaigning while knowing that we all need each other.
Politicians who preach hatred, division and tribalism to their opponents have no room in Serere during this campaign.
She encouraged the voters to vote for President Yoweri Museveni and NRM candidates.
