
Kids are now enjoying borehole

Four parishes in kangai Sub-county have benefited from borehole rehabilitation by MP felix Okot Ogong.
Speaking to LCC reporter Jimmy Okot, the chairperson of the Water User Committee said the new pipes and rods were fitted during the works and the spoiled boreholes are now working very well with clean water.
He has cautioned the usher to take good care of the boreholes and they must avoid jumping while draining water inorder to maintain its durability
He appealed to residents to safeguard the water sources and ensure their sustainability
Tonny Obwona the political assistant to Okot Ogong for Kwera Subcounty said among restored boreholes are Aliwok Primary School, Oyirogole Primary School, Adwonger Village in Chawagere Parish and Angweya Village in Angwenya Parish.
Obwona said rehabilitating those borehole its among legislators manifesto for 2021-2026.
Community members described the project as timely,given the increasing demand for safe drinking water in Kangai.
Some residents also noted that such interventions reflect the legislator’s commitment to giving back to his voters, urging continued support for his leadership.
